Tech Tools
In AdVENTURE much of our work is technology based and becuase of that we learn to us an abundance of different tech tools. Here, is where I spotlight the tools I used that were most important to my success in the past school year.
7th grade: Blogger
In the past year I have became very familiar with blogger. Blogger is a blogging site put on by Google. I have used this tool for just what it is for in the past year, blogging. I have created two different blogs or blogger, my math blog and my science blog. Since the start of the school year I have used blogger amlost every week. i use it to creat my weekly blogs on my science blog, witht he occasional project or artical blog, and I use it in math for project rewview blogs as well as to answer questions and explain my thinking. I think that using blogger I have shaped my writing skills in a way I wouldn't have been able to without this amazing site. I think that bloggin has improved my writing in many different ways, all of which have been reflected in Language arts. Here is the link to Blogger.
8th Grade: Khan Academy
This year I learned how to better use a lot of different websites, but the one that helped me succeed the most was Khan Academy. I learned about Khan in Mrs. Hogen-Esch’s class when we were experimenting different I-Ready alternatives. This has helped me succeed because I had found a trustworthy and helpful resource to not just help me in math but also to help cover some science topics I had questions on. I also this year used Khan Academy to help prepare me for next year since next year I will be going into Math 2 I have used Khan to help my through Math 1. I hope to use Khan in the future to help me answer questions I have as well as to get/stay ahead in math. Here is the link to the Khan Academy homepage
